We take pets to local nursing homes once a month for "people therapy".
In addition to dogs and cats, we have taken chickens, ducks, baby goats, rabbits, parrots, and even an emu. You do not have to be a member of the SPCA or have an animal to participate in this program. Call to volunteer or find out more. |
