All pets adopted from the shelter MUST be spayed or neutered. All pets placed for adoption have been socialized and are good with people.
Felines $80
Canines $90
Includes 1st shots, wormed, FeLV and FIV tested, and Advantage for fleas Includes 1st shots, wormed, Frontline for fleas and ticks, & microchip Any animal that has been at the shelter for more than 3 months is half price.
All of our animals are spayed or neutered before going home. They are also micro-chipped. Micro chip registration is included in the fees. Our animals also come with a 30 day health insurance policy, a 30 day return policy, and a bag of Science Diet food. They have as many shots as we have been able to give them based on the time we have had them. We accept cash and credit/debit cards.
Our shelter serves the entire Pearl River County. There is no charge to surrender an animal and we never refuse to take one.
We always need volunteers at the shelter in many different areas. You may choose whether you want to work with dogs, cats, or both. We need people to bathe, walk and socialize the animals, or to do adoption counseling. To set up an orientation, call 799-1541. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
